In contrast to previous studies, this paper uses a series of long-term observations of direct and total solar radiation, sunlight duration, cloud cover, air temperature, and wind speed to determine the spatial distribution of helioenergy potential. The observation material was processed in contrast to previous works using statistical and probabilistic analysis methods, resulting in significantly increased solar Accuracy of radiation characteristics, duration of sunshine and other time-distribution characteristics of meteorological elements and accuracy of cadastral estimates. Regularity of territorial distribution of Helioenergetical resurce of Internal Khartli is analyzed.

Considering the peculiarities of the snow cover regime (duration of existence, formation and disappearance dates, cover height), there are three zones for mountainous areas: permanent snow cover, seasonal sustainable snow cover and unstable snow cover. Unstable part at an altitude of 700 m including the foothills. The sustainable snow cover zone extends from a height of 700 m to the height of the Climatic Snow Line. The permanent snow zone is located above the climatic snow line. The paper analyzes the patterns of territorial distribution of snow cover regime characteristics. "

During the characterization of the snowstorm in Shida Kartli and to determine its regularities, the characteristics of the snowstorm on the existing meteorological network were used (average number of snowstorm days per year, maximum number of snowstorm days, average duration of snowstorms, duration of snowstorms at different winds of different time of day, And the repetition of the direction, the repetition of the air temperature in the snowstorm process according to the gradations, as well as the repetition of the snowstorm days per year according to the gradations) Information of existing observations for the period 1936-1990.

The mode characteristics of the snowstorm are investigated Their dependence on the absolute height of the place.

RADIATION REGIME AND SOLAR ENERGY RESOURCES OF THE CAUCASUS TERRITORY/Publishing House UNIVERSAL / 2015 / 342 p.Contract

The regularities of radiation balance components ‘changes (direct solar radiation, diffused radiation, summary radiation, reflected and absorbed radiation, albedo, effective radiation and the radiation balance itself are established for northern slope of Greater Caucasus. Quantitatively are assessed the influence of the radiation balance and its components of latitude, absolute heights, transparency and turbidity of atmosphere, cloudiness and regime of snow cover.

Climate and agro-climatic atlas of Georgia/GTU - Institute of Hydrometeorology / 2011 / 120 p.Grant Project

Complex Atlas of climatic and agro-climatic resources of Georgia has been elaborated for the first time. Its publishing as of a fundamental work will be of crucial importance. Results of perennial researches of Georgian scientists involved in this sphere are generalized in the work. The atlas consists of two parts. First part presents maps of general climate, factors of climate formation on the territory of Georgia, main elements of climate, atmospheric phenomena, distribution of resort resources and possible climate change, also as well as hazardous meteorological phenomena. The second part represents agro-climatic resources that enable agronomists to rationally dislocate agricultural crops, also forecast their high productivity. Majority of agro-climatic maps are designated for zoning of separate crops according to districts – cereals, vine, tea, citrus, subtropical crops etc. Phenological maps of agricultural crops shall also be taken into consideration. They are decisive in proper implementation of agro-technical measures, etc.
