The article discusses the disadvantages of the known devices for phase-pulse thyristor control implemented by means of an analog measuring technique. The question of the non-linearity of the regulation characteristic is considered. The analytical calculation is presented to find a nonlinear sequence of sampling pulses, at which a linear scale of output voltage levels of the calibrator is formed. The functional and circuit diagrams of the calibrator devices are described.

The article discusses the artificial microclimate adaptive control method, providing enhancing control functionalities, reducing energy costs, and increasing the accuracy of maintaining critical microclimate parameters at predetermined levels. Constructing principles, structure, and peculiarities of functioning of two (control and regulation) subsystems of the adaptive control and regulation system for artificial microclimate parameters are given. The subsystem of the processed system consists of DV2TS-IT-IP-A-III type n converter of temperature and turbulence, 6-15 volt power supply, mains connection channel, TCC-1001 adapter, converting RS-232 interface to RS-422/485 interface, and personal computer. The control subsystem includes a personal computer, an LPT adapter connected to its parallel port, D-decoders, control blocks, temperature and humidity control devices, and a control bus. The article describes the structure and operating principles of the software module for the control subsystem.

The principle for constructing a magneto-optical converter of electromagnetic moment of drive motors of rolling mills is described. A schematic realization of the known dependence of the electromagnetic moment of the dc motor on its parameters – current, voltage, and anchor angular velocity is carried out in the converter. Block diagrams of two realizations of the magneto-optical converter of the electromagnetic moment using Pokkels and Faraday cells, in which the contactless transformation of electric current and the multiplication operation are carried out, are given. Metrological characteristics of the given converters are adduced.
