In this work are studied the aspects of optical image formation in gelatin films in the presence of Chrisophenine and Acridine dye molecules associates. It is shown that by mixing the saturated water solutions consisting of Chrisophenine and Acridine Yellow and Chrisophenine and Acridine Orange in gelatin films, massive self-induced luminescence particles possessing polarization sensitivity are obtained. The particles are induced during film preparation and drying. The anisotropic particles are induced in the solvent forming an anisotropic polarization sensitive liquid. After the drying process, a film possessing optical properties of a polymer liquid crystal structure is formed. Here are presented the microstructure of such a film, which was observed in crossed polarizers, and the sequence scheme of the optical image formation in the film as well. Herewith, the film transmits light in any positions between crossed polarizers. When irradiating with active non-polarized light, the film is darkened in the crossed polarizers. By secondary exposure of the darkened area with the active, but linearly polarized in this case light, anisotropy photoinduction in the form of “grains” takes place. All the presented pictures are snapshots taken in the crossed polarizers. The difference between the particles located in the central part and in the outer ring is that the particles in the center have uniformly oriented optical axes. This can be confirmed by turning that film by certain angle, when all the particles in the small central circle will be darkened. If we continue

In order to define the mechanisms of Optical image Anisotropy Photoinduction formation, we studied the dependence of microstructure on the active light exposition. We used the polyvinyl and gelatin films stained by the azodyes “Mordant Pure Yellow" and Chrisophenine. Transparency of film with the photoinduced anisotropy in the crossed polarizers, according to the active light exposition, mostly is modulated on the basis of microstructure modulation.

Photocrystallization observed in organic compounds, Applied Optics, Vol. 40, Issue 11, 2001, Optica Publishing GroupState Target Program

Consideration is given to the action of azo-dye temperature on Weigert’s effect. Azo-dye-colored gelatin emulsions, on heating, have been found to show an increase both in the anisotropy photoinduction rate and in the magnitude of saturation anisotropy.

Weigert’s effect mechanism observed in dyes, Applied Optics, Vol. 41, Issue 1, 2002, Optica Publishing GroupState Target Program

Anisotropic grains have been shown to be spontaneously induced in films that have been oversaturated and overcooled with dye in which Weigert’s effect can be observed. Some of the grains exposed to active linearly polarized light are destroyed with the result that the film becomes anisotropic.

Weigert's effect observed in dye, Resent Res. Devel. Optics, 3, 2003, Research Singpost, 37/661, Kerala, IndiaState Target Program

Consideration is being given to Weigert’s effect in dyes, whereby a film image is produced. As in silver emulsion, trough grain distribution, with the only difference that the grains here are anisotropic. Their optical axes are aligned with the polarization vector of anisotropy- inducing light. Cnsophenine dye tests have shown an initiation of Weigert’s effect both by grain photoinduetion and by photodestruc'rion of spontaneously induced grains. Considering such a film as an analog of translueent plate, the relevant Jones matrix has been determined. Relying on this matrix, the properties of linearly polarized plan wave hologram based on the initiation of Weigert's ejfect in dye have been investigated. The conditions have been ascertained wherein a polarization hologram could be obtained and the diffraction efiiciency of this hologram has been determined.

In the course of slow evaporation of an azo-dye chrysophenine-saturated gelatin-water solution, dye crystals that developed two different interference colors were observed in the gelatin; the colors were yellow and blue. The crystals that produce a blue interference color undergo disintegration on exposure to non-polarized light from a mercury lamp.

Photo-induced reorientation of molecules in dye micro crystals, Chinese Optics Letters, Vol. 4, Issue 1, 2005, Optica Publishing GroupState Target Program

Upon massive generation of anisotropic grains of azo dye methyl orange in a gelatin film exposed to active polarized light, a cluster of micro crystals with optical axes of similar orientations has been produced. The anisotropy observed has been found to disappear under exposure to active natural light.

Anisotropic photoinduction in Rhodamine 6G dye-painted gelatin film, Applied Optics 46(33), 2007, Optica Publishing GroupState Target Program

A series of tests have been performed involving anisotropy photoinduction in Rhodamine 6G-dyed gelatin film. A film with photoinduced anisotropy has been shown to be characterized by photochromism. The dichroism of the dye molecule aggregates has been investigated.

Light-controlled mass formation of aggregates of molecules in organic compounds, CHINESE OPTICS LETTERS, VOL.7, N9, 2009, Optica Publishing GroupGrant Project

During the mass formation of aggregates of molecules in a gelatin film dyed with the mixture of chrysophenine and acridine yellow dyes, photo-reorientation, photo-disorientation, and photo-orientation of the molecules are observed. Based on these observations, the photo-induction of granular aniso tropy may be realized.

Anisotropy Photoinduction during the Mass Associations of Dye Molecules in Gelatin Films, Journal of Materials, Hindawi Publishing, Volume 2013 (2013), Article ID 507938, 2013State Target Program

By using the video microscopy, the picture of the formation of anisotropy photoinduction in the form of grains in time is shown, when anisotropy in the film is induced in individual micrograins and the concentration and sizes of the grains are modulated depending on the light exposition. This phenomenon was observed in the gelatin film dyed with the mixture prepared with the saturated solutions of Chrysophenine and Acridine Yellow mixed with 1 : 1 proportion.
