International Conference on Environmental Management, of the World Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (WASET)Paris, France202119-20 ივლისიWorld Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (WASET)Treatment of the Modern Management Mechanism of the Debris Flow Processes Expected in the Mletiskheviposter

The work reviewed and evaluated various genesis debris flow phenomena recently formatted in the Mletiskhevi, accordingly in revealed necessity of treatment modern debris flow against measures. Based on this, it is proposed the debris flow against truncated semi cone shape construction, which elements are contained in the car's secondary tires. Its constituent elements (sections) due to the possibilities of amortization and geometric shapes is effective and sustainable towards debris flow hitting force. The construction is economical, because after crossing the debris flow in the river bed, the riverbed is not cleanable, also the elements of the building are resource saving. For assessment of influence of cohesive debris flow at the construction and evaluation of the construction effectiveness have been implemented calculation in the specific assumptions with approved methodology. According to the calculation, it was established that after passing debris flow in the debris flow construction (in 3 row case) its hitting force reduced 3 times, that causes reduce of debris flow speed and kinetic energy, as well as sedimentation on a certain section on of water drain in the lower part  of the construction. Based on the analysis and report on the debris flow against construction, it can be said that construction is effective, inexpensive, technically relatively easy-to-reach measure, that's why its implementation is prospective.

Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University The Forecast of Quantity Characteristics of Soil Erosion Processes Running on the Vulnerability Slope existed in the River Gldaniskhevi Basin and Working out on Managing of Mechanisms for Eroded Sections poster

Soil erosion processes occurrent on the vulnerable slopes of the Gldaniskhevi river ravine are considered in the work. Namely, by means of approved empirical dependence, on Mamkoda adjoining  vulnerable slopes, values of eroding coefficient, degree of damage and erosion numerical  characteristics were determined. In order to make the results more precise and to elaborate effective soil anti erosive geo mat (eroded sections control devices), field integrated polygon was arranged on Mamkoda settling adjoining vulnerable slope. There, at the same time, soil erosion dynamics study (control section) as well as the investigation on soil anti erosive effectivity and ability of bio diversity renewal of two different of each other geo mats (the worldwide approved geo mat “Jute Mat” and Georgian product geo mat “Luffaeromat”) were conducted. On the base of research having been carried out on the polygon control section, it has been ascertained,  that theoretical outcomes received on Mamkoda adjoining vulnerable slopes stand close to those of attained in field conditions, that stipulates reliability of data, gained as the result of researches fulfilled with the purpose to determine soil erosion intensity. As for field researches fulfilled on the experimental sections of the integrated polygon, it was ascertained, that from the soil anti erodibility point of view as well as that of bio diversity renewal ability geo mat “Luffaeromat”, created by us, is more effective, than geo mat “Jute Mat”, that allows us to give recommendation for its implementation.

The catchment basin of the Jokhtaniskhevi (Jokhtani ravine) – the right tributary of the debris flow nature Gldaniskhevi river, which is situated on the territory of Tbilisi, is considered in the study. There, according the recent period, erosion-landslide genesis great intensity debries flow phenomena has been formatted with 5 year intervals.

In order to study debris flow processes occurent in one of the Gldaniskhevi debris flow nature Jokhtani ravine, namely, in its catchment basin, and to ascertain hydraulic and morphometric parametres of the debris flow, the field researchers has been carried out in spring 2017.

After chamber treatment of the data, gained during the field researches and by the use of approved empirical dependence, recieved by Proffesor Givi Gavardashvili, various percentage provision maximal discharges were ascertained in the Jokhtaniskhevi catchment basin.

According the calculation of the approved empirical dependence given in the study, 1% provision maximal discharge of debris flow of Jokhtaniskhevi has been ascertained, which is 359,6 m3/sec. That poses great danger to the population of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and active, effective measures are needed to implement for softening the predictable ecological disaster.

In the article is considred stability of the landslide dangerous slope existing on the left side of river  Jokhtaniskhevi. It has been calculated critical values of slope thick z as, „dry“ ground, also soil ground lay saturated with water, which overdose causes kick start of slope.

As the result of research has been determimate, that water saturation of slope decrease of critical angle approximately 100 ÷ 350 (Occurring slope failures).

To accomplish this, research slope is slope existing in the marginal condition and in case of intensive rains is high possibility kick start of slope and suiable receive disaster results.

At the territory of Tbilisi, in order to forecast steadiness of vulnerable slope, existed at the river Gldaniskhevi catchment basin, a topographical map of the located slope has been done where the charsteristics cross-cut line has been chosen and 3 pores have been arranged. Soil samples have been taken out of the pores, according to the results of the laboratory researches on them lithological structure of the rocks has been determined, also the geological cross-cut of the territory has been made; physical features of the soil strength factors, charachteristics of the slopes resistant in case of natural and wet states, has been determined.

According to the gained landslide body data and forecast, done with the use of approbated method, it cab be said, that landslide running at the vulnerable slope, of the Gldaniskhevi river is in its active phase, that poses great ecological danger to the population of Mamkoda settlement, agjoining the slope, as well as to the traffic of the autobahn.

Key words: landslide, erosion, vulnerability, lithology, forecast.

Simulative modeling of the soil erosion processes 2018, ANNALS OF AGRARIAN SCIENCE, GeorgiaGrant Project

In order to visualize the negative consequences of soil erosion processes running in Georgia, namely in the Gldaniskhevi ravine within the territory of Tbilisi, research field integrated polygon has been arranged on the eroded slope chosen beforehand. At the control area of polygon 24 field experiments have been carried out to study the dynamics of the formed erosion processes under the different intensity precipitation conditions, whereby scour parameters were being measured (average depth – h, average width – b, B). For estimating the exactness of calculations done on the results of measurings accomplished with the purpose to definite the intensity of soil erosion processes, the method of least squares have been used, on the base of which contour dependence between investigated parameters and therefore validity of the accomplished researches have been ascertained. Simulative modeling of the soil erosion processes has been accomplished by means of special computer programs, which has shown, that during 167 days at the control area of the field polygon the eroded slope gulleying processes have been significantly strengthened, that nowadays can be also noticed on the slopes outside the polygon, on account of which can be concluded, that in order, to prevent expected landslide and debris flow phenomena in the river Gldaniskhevi ravine, implementation of urgent effective anti-erosive measures is needed.
