After finishing school in 1971, I have been working at the Institute of Water Management (later Georgian Research Institute for hydraulic engineering and Land Reclamation) on various positions: from laboratory assistant to scientific worker. In 1973 I entered the Novocherkassk Engineering and Reclamation Institute ( Russia). On graduating from the Institute in 1979, I was involved in the implementation of scientific topics. During these years I gained experience and in 2015 I entered the doctoral program of the Georgian Technical University and in 2018 I defended my dissertation "Investigation of the Erosion and Landslide Genesis Debris Flow Phenomena in the River Gldaniskhevi Catchment Basin and Elaboration Up-to-Date Measures of Fighting With Them", which was performed under the guidance of Associate Professors G. Chakhaia and Z. Lobzhanidze. I continue working for Ts. Mirtskhoulava Water Management Institute of Georgian Technical University In the status of Academic Doctor of Agroengineering (PhD).

Based on this, it is proposed the debris flow against truncated semi cone shape construction, which elements are contained in the car's secondary tires. Its constituent elements (sections) due to the possibilities of amortization and geometric shapes is effective and sustainable towards debris flow hitting force. The construction is economical, because after crossing the debris flow in the river bed, the riverbed is not cleanable, also the elements of the building are resource saving. For assessment of influence of cohesive debris flow at the construction and evaluation of the construction effectiveness have been implemented calculation in the specific assumptions with approved methodology. According to the calculation, it was established that after passing debris flow in the debris flow construction (in 3 row case) its hitting force reduced 3 times, that causes reduce of debris flow speed and kinetic energy, as well as sedimentation on a certain section on of water drain in the lower part of the construction. Based on the analysis and report on the debris flow against construction, it can be said that construction is effective, inexpensive, technically relatively easy-to-reach measure, that's why its implementation is prospective. | http://www.waset.org/ |

Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University | The Forecast of Quantity Characteristics of Soil Erosion Processes Running on the Vulnerability Slope existed in the River Gldaniskhevi Basin and Working out on Managing of Mechanisms for Eroded Sections | poster | Soil erosion processes occurrent on the vulnerable slopes of the Gldaniskhevi river ravine are considered in the work. Namely, by means of approved empirical dependence, on Mamkoda adjoining vulnerable slopes, values of eroding coefficient, degree of damage and erosion numerical characteristics were determined. In order to make the results more precise and to elaborate effective soil anti erosive geo mat (eroded sections control devices), field integrated polygon was arranged on Mamkoda settling adjoining vulnerable slope. There, at the same time, soil erosion dynamics study (control section) as well as the investigation on soil anti erosive effectivity and ability of bio diversity renewal of two different of each other geo mats (the worldwide approved geo mat “Jute Mat” and Georgian product geo mat “Luffaeromat”) were conducted. On the base of research having been carried out on the polygon control section, it has been ascertained, that theoretical outcomes received on Mamkoda adjoining vulnerable slopes stand close to those of attained in field conditions, that stipulates reliability of data, gained as the result of researches fulfilled with the purpose to determine soil erosion intensity. As for field researches fulfilled on the experimental sections of the integrated polygon, it was ascertained, that from the soil anti erodibility point of view as well as that of bio diversity renewal ability geo mat “Luffaeromat”, created by us, is more effective, than geo mat “Jute Mat”, that allows us to give recommendation for its implementation.
20th International Conference on Environmental, Biological, Ecological Sciences and Engineering | Istanbul, Turkey | 2018 | 30-31 იანვარი | World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET) | The Forecasting of Various Insure Maximal Discharges of Predictable Debris Flow of River Gldaniskhevi valley | poster | The catchment basin of the Jokhtaniskhevi (Jokhtani ravine) – the right tributary of the debris flow nature Gldaniskhevi river, which is situated on the territory of Tbilisi, is considered in the study. There, according the recent period, erosion-landslide genesis great intensity debries flow phenomena has been formatted with 5 year intervals. In order to study debris flow processes occurent in one of the Gldaniskhevi debris flow nature Jokhtani ravine, namely, in its catchment basin, and to ascertain hydraulic and morphometric parametres of the debris flow, the field researchers has been carried out in spring 2017. After chamber treatment of the data, gained during the field researches and by the use of approved empirical dependence, recieved by Proffesor Givi Gavardashvili, various percentage provision maximal discharges were ascertained in the Jokhtaniskhevi catchment basin. According the calculation of the approved empirical dependence given in the study, 1% provision maximal discharge of debris flow of Jokhtaniskhevi has been ascertained, which is 359,6 m3/sec. That poses great danger to the population of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and active, effective measures are needed to implement for softening the predictable ecological disaster.

Such kind of result is natural, but for bigger marker of angle band effect is opposite. It's established how to calculate angle bend and it's given concrete e[amples to proof this paradoxical properties.
