In the article to research water levels in the Zhinvali water reservoirs by field and theoretical research and using GPS and GIS technologies has been established dynamic of water reservoirs changes in the suitable coordinates and has been made water reservoir maps and is lined in the 3D format. By using of GPS coordinates and digital maps has been established water horizons of Jinvali water reservoir in the absolute marks and has been calculated water levels volume. To forecast the filling of the Zhinavali water reservoir by solid sediment in 2018 conducted field experimental researches in the catchment basin of river Tetri Aragvi. It has been established main hydrological and hydraulic parameters of the active erosion-debris flow tributaries of river Tetri Aragvi. It has been calculated erosion coefficient considering the degradation of the slope. By calculation is determined, that in the river Tetri Aragvi catchment basin the value of 1 % maximum discharge changes Q1% = 70,0 – 550,0 m3 /sec, and erosion coefficient - E = 0,73 - 1,62, with suitable fifth class of erosion and intensity 50-100 tone/ha in the year.

Duruji basin and is provided recommendation about river bed cleaning necessity. The anthrophogenic impact on the environment often became cause formation of the anomalies, particularly, debris flow, the result is dramatically changing the existing situation and ecological balance. Currently the most effective measure performed for debris flow prevention in Kvareli is a river embankment. After its construction, debris flows have taken place for several times, but the town was not affected. debris flow, Duruji, hazards, protection

these debris flow colloids are good material for ceramic and building material. For the effective protection of the population of the town of Kvareli in Georgia from debris flow formed on the Duruji River together of the river, embankment building is necessary to restore of river bed cleaning. Using of debris-flow sediment for ceramic industry, building and agriculture increase demand of debris-flow sediment, that naturally provokes restoration of cleaning of river Duruji bed.

Debris flow is the most widespread natural disaster in Georgia. River Duruji is one the most vulnerability river, but besides its damage, also may use as additive to create micro zone for vine variety "Sapheravi", from which it is made World known Georgian wine, "Kinzmarauli". In the article, the role of debris flow materials into industrial of wine "Kinzmarauli" is presented. Chemical and geological contain of debris flow sediment is presented and our field experiment is described, which result will be presented to the future conferences.

PLANET WATER RESOURCES, GLOBAL ECOLOGY PROBLEMS AND ROLE OF HUMAN BEING IN SOLVING THESE PROBLEMSGrant Project

In the work has been evaluation quantity characteristic of the water supply of Georgia and

World. It has been presented our explanation of ecologic science and has been implemented

new structure of branch sciences which is studied of ecological problems, which base is

Earth’s structure. On the base of it amount of branches of ecological problems reduced to 2,

which is optimal version by our opinion. It is generally known that, main creator of ecological

THE OPTIMAL MEASURE TO PROTECT THE BLACK SEA COASTAL ZONE FROM THE SEA ABRASION PROCESSESGrant Project

The protection of the Black Sea coastal zone territories from abrasion processes is to be considered

the most essential problem for our country. the maintenances of ecological safety of the population living

THE LABORATORY RESEARCH OF RESOURCE SAVING BIOENGINEERING MEASURE (GEO MAT ,,LUFFAEROMAT”) AGAINST SOIL DEGRADATION RUNNING ON THE VULNERABILITY MOUNTAIN SLOPESGrant Project

Against soil degradation exist many measure (engineering, forestreclamation measures, geo mats), from them distinguished geo mats with their effectively. In the world is known many geo mat against erosion degradation (Jute Mat, Covamat, Eromat and etc.), but many of them produced as a result of difficult process of plants biomass processing, making its sewing thread and knitting, which is also important restrictive factor for using geo mats.

With considering above mentioned, we propose geo mat ,,Luffaeromat”, which are made

easily, particularly from naturally prepared fiber-labyrinth inner of plant Luffa dry fruit, which

after cutting along length, connect to each other with hemp yarn joint and create united geo mat.

For study soil protectable characteristics of geo mat ,,Luffaeromat”, carried out laboratory

research on it, positive results received on the base on its laboratory research show us necessity its

research in the field conditions, to ultimately determine expediency of introduction of geo

mat,,Luffaeromat” to achieve stabilization of vulnerability slopes.

THE FIELD EXPERIMENT ON THE RIVER DURUJI DEBRIS FLOW COLLOIDAL SEDIMENTGrant Project

Debris flow is the most widespread natural disaster in Georgia. River Duruji is one

the most vulnerability river, but besides its damage, also its transported debris flow colloidal material may use as additive to create micro zone for vine variety ,,Sapheravi”, from which it is made World known Georgian wine ,,Kinzmarauli”.

In the article is presented the role of debris flow materials into industrial of wine ,,Kinzmarauli”. It is presented chemical and geological contain of debris flow sediment and is described our field experiment.

"THE CHEMICAL SURVEYS RESULTS OF WELL WATER USED FOR DRINKING BY RURAL POPULATION ON THE COLCHIS LOWLAND (SEPTEMBER, 2017) State Target Program

In the article is presented field experiment result, which conducted in September 2017. The scientific workers of Tsotne Mirtskhulava Water Management Institute of Georgian Technical University carried out field investigation in seven region of Colchis lowland. They analysis well water on site by modern drinking water portable analyzer.

During the field research discovered some cases of important pollutant of well water, also fixed case of pollutant with iron. The results is compared to regalement of drinking water.

Protection of settlements from floods and debris flow on the example of tragedy in Tbilisi on 13-14 June of 2015Grant Project

This article presents material about the flood on the Vere River on 13-14 June, 2015. It caused significant economic and ecological damage to the country, and there were also human victims. The reasons for the ecological disaster are evaluated and appropriate hydrological calculations have been carried out. It has been particularly established that the predictable (forecasting) maximal discharges of 0, 1% value for Vere River is 520 m3/sec and not 410 m3/sec, that was calculated water conduct tunnels in the entrance of city before the Mtkvari River. The flood on the 13-14 June 2015 and the connected tragedy was caused by high intensive precipitation in the catchment basin, the activation of geodynamic processes, and also anthropogenic factors. In our opinion, a reason of disaster also was a design flaw in hydrotechnical buildings (tunnels)–they are not able to manage a water flow rate of 0, 1% assurance.

The paper presents the recommendations necessary for us to avoid, or at least reduce, the ecological and economic problems caused by floods and debris flow. The presented recommendations against a disaster like that which affected Tbilisi, as well as the expected environmental problems on territory with similar natural conditions, will enable us to avoid or reduce damage caused by flood and debris flow.
