Candidate of Technical Sciences, Director at the Archil Eliashvili Institute of Control Systems of Georgian Technical University, Professor of LEPL Georgian Technical University of the Department of Informatics and Control Systems (2012-2021). I received my PhD degree at Orjonikidze Aviation Institute in Moscow in 1980. I have been the real member of Georgian Engineering Academy since 2011. At different times I have worked at the Archil Eliashvili Institute of Control Systems, as a junior scientist, a senior researcher, a head of the department of the information transform problems and as a deputy director of the Institute in the scientific part. My scientific interests are: development of energy parameter control devices and management systems for high current technological processes; Development of devices and systems designed for weak magnetic field modeling; Development of artificial micro-climate control and management systems for large amounts of objects. I have participated: in the International Science Center Grant „Elaboration of a universal test on magneto sensitivity“ G-2064; as well as in the last ten years I have participated in 10 international scientific forums, I have published 94 scientific publications, in the last ten years I have received 3 patents in Georgia. In 2013 I was awarded the Order of Merit.

The report evaluates the solar energy potential of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region and its utilization prospects. The area of Samtskhe-Javakheti is characterized by great solar energy potential. St. The duration of sunshine in Rodionovka reaches 2633 hours per year, which is almost 10% more than the national average. The widespread use of the sun as a renewable energy resource allows the creation of additional energy capacities in the region, which ensure the widespread consumption of this resource and increase the sustainability of the region's energy supply. The report shows that the development of a strategy for the protection of the ecosystem and the rational use of natural resources, the introduction of modern, ecologically clean technologies, is one of the necessary conditions for the growth of the economic potential of Georgia

There has been elaborated an imitative model of the heating system heat pump machinery by means of which it is possible to establish an individual objects and manufacturing technology processes in residential localities of the heating-cooling supply optimal schemes. In the report there is laid out an analysys conducted by us, of the energy-economical results of the various types of the heatins systems operating on the basis of heating pump macninery. Based on climate districts there are established heating pumps usage effective zones for various types of low potential heat sources and for heating stations of various cost.

Scopes of application of the large DC calibrators are evaluated. Possible development trends of such calibrators are indicated. The disadvantages connected to using modern calibrators are also highlighted. The possible method providing dynamical compensation for unwanted changes in the output characteristic of the device caused by outrageous impacts acting on the system (changes in load resistance, mains voltage, frequency, ambient temperature, etc.) is proposed. The block diagram of the calibrator using this method is given.

The problem of parameter identification of nonlinear dynamic systems of industrial processes on the set of continuous block-oriented models, the elements of which are different modifications of the Hammerstein and Wiener models, is considered. Method of parameter identification in steady state based on the observation of the system's input and output variables at the input sinusoidal influences is proposed. The solution of the problem of parameter identification is reduced to the solution of the systems of algebraic equations by using the Fourier approximation. The parameters estimations are received by the least squares method. Reliability of the received results, at the parameter identification of the nonlinear system in industrial conditions at the presence of noise, depends on the accuracy of the measurement of system output signals and mathematical processing of the experimental data at the approximation.

The article discusses the disadvantages of the known devices for phase-pulse thyristor control implemented by means of an analog measuring technique. The question of the non-linearity of the regulation characteristic is considered. The analytical calculation is presented to find a nonlinear sequence of sampling pulses, at which a linear scale of output voltage levels of the calibrator is formed. The functional and circuit diagrams of the calibrator devices are described.

The most important for human health is the environment, especially the clean air, where people have to live. There are many toxic substances in the air that cause many diseases. Such substances are sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, and carbon dioxide. Care must be taken to ensure that the concentration of these substances does not exceed the permissible level. The increase in their concentration can be caused by various reasons: the emission of large numbers of vehicles, the emissions of various enterprises, environmental disasters such as fires, radiation pollution, and others. The mathematical model that describes the diffusion of air pollutants into the air and is used to predict air pollution, has been built. The mathematical model represents the partial differential equation with initial and boundary conditions. The characteristic diffusion coefficients of this model are calculated on the basis of the statistical analysis of the data taken at the measuring stations. In addition to the polluting ingredients, the model takes into account air temperature, cloudiness, wind speed, and direction. The method of statistical analysis of time series is used to predict the concentration of air pollution. The experiment was conducted on the example of Tbilisi. The graphs that are built based on the use of the method, allow visual evaluation.

The article discusses the artificial microclimate adaptive control method, providing enhancing control functionalities, reducing energy costs, and increasing the accuracy of maintaining critical microclimate parameters at predetermined levels. Constructing principles, structure, and peculiarities of functioning of two (control and regulation) subsystems of the adaptive control and regulation system for artificial microclimate parameters are given. The subsystem of the processed system consists of DV2TS-IT-IP-A-III type n converter of temperature and turbulence, 6-15 volt power supply, mains connection channel, TCC-1001 adapter, converting RS-232 interface to RS-422/485 interface, and personal computer. The control subsystem includes a personal computer, an LPT adapter connected to its parallel port, D-decoders, control blocks, temperature and humidity control devices, and a control bus. The article describes the structure and operating principles of the software module for the control subsystem.

The principle for constructing a magneto-optical converter of electromagnetic moment of drive motors of rolling mills is described. A schematic realization of the known dependence of the electromagnetic moment of the dc motor on its parameters – current, voltage, and anchor angular velocity is carried out in the converter. Block diagrams of two realizations of the magneto-optical converter of the electromagnetic moment using Pokkels and Faraday cells, in which the contactless transformation of electric current and the multiplication operation are carried out, are given. Metrological characteristics of the given converters are adduced.
