I, Manana Mamulashvili, am an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy of the Georgian Technical University, Department of Environmental Engineering and Ecology. I am also a researcher at the same university, Institute of Membrane Technology Engineering. I teach a lecture and laboratory course - Environment and Ecology, monitoring of industrial facilities, monitoring of natural facilities, control and treatment of industrial wastewater. My students participate in international student-scientific conferences. I do scientific work in the field of baromembrane filtration of wine, fruit juices, drinking and wastewater and microbiological studies.

Scientific-Practical Conference/Aspects of Innovative Research in Agrarian SciencesTbilisi, Georgi202120/11/2021Georgian Technical UniversityUse of polymer membranes in technological processes of wine recyclingoral

The acquisition and use of polymeric membranes with different pore sizes (0.2 μm, 0.45 μm, 0.8 μm) for wine filtration is discussed. The surface topography, productivity and pore dimensions of the obtained membrane samples are studied. It is established that by using filters of membrane samples obtained by wine filtration, it is possible to reduce the initial turbidity of wine from 20.35 NTU to 0.26 -0.6 NTU and to remove yeasts, mold fungi, lactose, vinegar and coliforms in the wine

International Jubilee Scientific-Technical Conference/Environmental Protection and Sustainable DevelopmentTbilisi, Georgi201911/11/2019 - 12/11/2019Georgian Technical UniversityCreation and processing of polymer membranes to obtain high quality wateroral

Polymeric membranes with porous dimensions of 0.005 μm, 0.1 μm, 0,2 μm, 0,45 μm with small surface relief (1-10nm) are designed and processed to obtain crystal clear, sterile water, while retaining polymer membranes are obtained to remove chemical components. Particles with a molecular mass of 20-10000 daltons. Membrane units equipped with this type of membranes provide high quality drinking water, the obtained product is ecologically clean.
