Academic Doctor, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member of the Georgian Academy of Engineering, Chief Researcher of the Food Industry Research Institute of the Georgian Technical University. The main field of scientific activity is the research of technologies of essential oils, fatty oils and perfume-cosmetic products. Improving the existing technologies of essential oils, fatty oils, biologically active extracts and cosmetics (lotions, gels, fragrant water) from essential oils and fatty oils, developing new rational waste technologies and defining their field of application. Has published more than a hundred papers, textbooks, supporting manuals and other teaching methods in this field. Has received 18 copyrights and copyrights. The institute currently leads a group working on the use of natural flavorings based on essential oils based on local essential oils to develop technologies for the production of bio-food products that are competitive in the world market. To study the complex technology of making perfumed lemon and citrus jam from non-standard mandarin fruits.

The innovative research aspects in agricultural scienceTbilisi, Georgia202120/11/2021-21/11/2021Georgian Technical Universityprocessing of the residues of rose essential oil production oral

Studies conducted at the institute have developed the technology of obtaining fragrant concrete from the solid phase of rose flower processing, and the fragrant water and biologically active extract of rose from the liquid phase. Their physico-chemical parameters and chemical composition are studied

Areas of use of fragrant concrete, fragrant water and biologically active extract obtained from waste production of rose essential oil - perfume-cosmetic production and household chemicals.

The innovative research aspects in agricultural scienceTbilisi, Georgia202120/11/2021-21/11/2021Georgian Technical UniversityInvestigation of residues of essential oil rose processingoral

Hydrodistillation processing waste of fermented rose flowers under anaerobic conditions consisting of steamed rose flower extract was investigated.

The chemical composition of solid and liquid phases of rose flowers and its processing was investigated. Directions for the use of these wastes are defined.

It is established that the solid phase can be used for additional products — aromatic concrete, while the liquid phase can be used to obtain fragrant water and biologically active extract of rose.
