The article proposes to solve the problem of wooden logs logistics using IoT technology. The architecture and operation of wooden logs monitoring and registration IoT system are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the convenience of using this system.

The methodology of comparative analysis of SCADA and IoT technologies is proposed in the work. It is concluded that both technologies will have their own role to play in the implementation process of Industry 4: they not exclude but complement each other in solving a complex technological task.. 

 COVID-19, due to the lack of effective medicines to fight against it and its fairly easy spread, quickly turned into a global pandemic. It could be said that COVID-19 fundamentally changed the whole world. The world's leading countries have begun actively use technologies against the rapid spread of the virus and to introduce them in the healthcare system. This mainly meant stopping the spread of the virus or taking certain preventive measures using technologies. In this paper are classified the systems directed against Covid-19, are discussed their effectiveness or ways to improve them in this sense. 

today, under pandemic conditions, distance learning has become perfectly acceptable for some areas of knowledge, but engineering sciences have encountered some problems due to the need for laboratory training. The paper discusses the low quality of distance laboratory training and its causes and aspirations to improve the quality of it. At the same time, it is said in this article that with the passage of time, the user has less and less physical or psychological contact with the technological process in order to manage it. Thus, the user, who manages the technological process through a computer, in most cases does not need direct contact with the technological process and, consequently, the technological «feeling of machines». It is concluded that for distance laboratory training the user only needs to interact to the computer managing technological process. This indicates that there is no difference between the face to face and distance laboratory training for computerized technological processes

Although the technical concept of the exoskeleton is already used in many fields, it is still in the process of development, therefore, many scientists or engineers are involved in this process.

The method of mini and maxi portraits (Todua, 2002) known in the theory of recognition implies formation of algorithmic (logical) decision-making procedures. In such cases, nine possible situations are described, the existence of which is possible when comparing unknown realizations with two template descriptions of the image: a mini-portrait and a maxi-portrait. Each situation is described by one logical expression, since mini and maxi portraits are binary vectors or a matrix. This means that nine situations require nine logical expressions to be calculated, which makes the recognition process slower. If we take into account that the result of the recognition process may not be final (intermediate solution), then it becomes clear that it is necessary to form one more measure of similarity, which will be described by one expression. Accordingly, the recognition process will become simpler and fast. (Verulava, Verulava,Todua, Zhvania, 2007; Verulava, Todua, Zhvania, 2010). 

Smart HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) system is the indinspensable part of modern smart homes. Such systems guarantee to maintain comfort climate inside buildings while optimizing energy consumption as much as possible. There are presented multifunctional IoT system of central heating, described system structure, working principles, used interfaces and protocols. The system’s cost is lower in comparison with the existing analogs. The system is flexible and has possibility to add additional functions; ensures energy efficient control and monitoring of central heating system, according to user requirements. Parameters of presented system are saved on the Google Cloud IoT platform, user can change them easily by using the proper mobile application. 

Development processes of mathematical model for defining interrelations among normative legal documents in legal reference systems are presented in this article. The results of theoretical and experimental researches of potentially hazardous situations in the normative legal documents and problems of establishing of interrelations of different types of normative legal documents are considered also. These interrelations are depend on the time-defined action of documents. Methods for recognition of potentially hazardous situations are presented. 

Using of information and communication technologies in education system has become more and more important recently. Obtaining the information for which student is standing in a turn at the dean office or students and university personnel can receive as a printed copy (for example, a bulletin board, stand, etc.) is greatly simplified by creating of specialized information system (the so-called information kiosks). 

In the last period of time, security in wireless networks and quality of service, became very important and it is a subject of active researches. Communication signals which are extended in some environment can be received by someone else. Companies and individual users must recognize potentially existing problems and try to prevent them.Every system which needs to secure has some deficiencies in it. These deficiencies or part of them can be used by attacker.  subsequently, for providing security of the system it is important to consider all possible threats and attacks which can be performed against the system. security mechanisms must provide system security by considering the given threats, attacks and deficiencies. in this article questions of security of wireless networks are discussed, it analyzes possible threats and the appro- priate mechanisms of protection. The most common forms of threats of wireless networks (non-authorised access, Denial of service, Dos and man-in-the-middle attacks) are described by its own properties and are given recommen- dations for security issue.

The article considers issues related to necessity of introducing and application of knowledge management (KM) systems in modern companies; Problems and complexities accompanying implementation of KM systems are also considered; Efficiency of using the knowledge contained in KM systems in case of key employee‘s leaving company is shown. OMIS systems (Organizational Memory Information Systems), their architecture and roles in decision of practical tasks of information processing are also considered

One of the approaches to the shape analysis of the extracted segment on 2-D segmented digital image is based on its description by the points of the closed contour surrounding the segment. In simple case, the shape contour can be described by a finite set of its boundary points, for example, a sequence of the coordinates of the contour pixels. At the same time, the larger the number of points the more accurate is the contour description. But this requires a high computational cost for further process of the shape analysis. Therefore, it is very important to obtain a more accurate restoration of the original digital closed contour for the current number of pixels on the contour than using the Whittaker-Kotelnikov-Shannon interpolation formula. In this paper we use the generalized interpolation formula (Piranashvili formula) for solution of the task.

It is very important for modern universities to combine of electronic and distance learning with the traditional methods of teaching. Effective electronic teaching relies on well organized learning courses. From this point of view, the innovative possibility implemented in CMS Moodle, i.e. connecting of learning activities in the electronic course with certain conditions of completion is very promising. Issues of using of this innovation of CMS Moodle in electronic learning courses are discussed in this article. Implementation of this innovation gives possibility to enhance quality of adapting of electronic courses for each student, practically without involvement from teacher’s side. On the basis of the model which is built by using new functional possibility was developed E-learning course “Fundamentals of Operating Systems”.

Ensuring the implementation of one of the most important requirements of the modern education system - "Long life learning" - is possible with the help of distance education and e-learning technologies. With the use of these technologies, obtaining and deepening knowledge is possible without breaking away from the main activity. Article describes the developed educational web-portal and the model of an interactive training course. In this model, learning activities are bound by certain conditions of completion and a mechanism for monitoring the involvement of the listener in video lectures is embedded in it. 

In spite of the fact that now the majority of documents exist in electronic form, the task of creation of completely electronic document management still represents serious problem. The task of moving of information from paper to electronic form is actual not only in systems of electronic document managements. For solution of this task it is necessary to create recognition systems for printed and handwritten texts. If recognition of the printed text is well studied task in the world and is successfully decided for many different types of a font, the task of recognition of handwritten texts still remains unresolved. Its final decision needs some more years. Unfortunately, for Georgian printed texts the problem of recognition is not decided yet, it is also so many difficulties for the handwritten texts. In this article are considered problems which meet on a difficult way of preliminary computer processing and recognition of Georgian printed and handwritten texts.

The segments extracted according with developed non-parametric segmentation method based on Parzen estimation function is used for further scene analysis on a level of segmented image. Obtained segments quasi description gives possibility to reconstruct segments similar to its original form and receive definite information concern objects, their characters, location, etc. It allows making some preliminary conclusion for scene analysis.
