The paper discusses the mathematical replacement of the physical model for the study of riverine capillary processes. Based on the analysis of the research results, it is concluded that mathematical modeling of riverbed processes is only an effective tool, although it is necessary to create a large-scale state monitoring system to predict riverbed processes.
