14th International Interactions & Microbial Ecology | Vienna, Austria | 2019 | 19/08/2019 - 20/08/2019 | Conference series LLC Ltd | The Influence of the Biopreparation "Phytocatena" on the Fungi Fusarium of Tomato Root and Rhizosphere | poster | The research aim was to study the influence of the biopreparate "Phytocatena" on the Fungus Fusarium of the tomato root and rhizosphere. The study of the biopreparation influence on pathogens, which causes the disease of soil micro-flora and plant, is one of the main issues for environmental recovery and ecologically clean product. The study has shown that the biopreparate Phytocatena's activity has significantly decreased the total quantity of pathogenic fungi and Fusarium development within the plant root, as well as within the rhizosphere. This has resulted in a tomato that has a strong root system, well developed stems and a healthy plant product.
12th World Congress on Biotechnology and Microbiology | Amsterdam, Netherlands | 2018 | 28/06/2018 - 29/06/2018 | Conference series LLC Ltd | The Influence of the Biopreparation "Biocatena" and Fungicide "Ridomil Gold" on Fungal Diseases of Tomato Root and Rhizosphere | poster | The research aim was to study the influence of the biological preparate "Biocatena" and fungicide "Ridomil Gold" on pathogens which cause fungal diseases of tomato variety "Slivka" root and rhizosphere. The Fungicide "Ridomil Gold" strongly suppresses development of both beneficial and pathogenic microorganisms of the plant root and rhizosphere, while the biological product "Biocatena" does not cause strong suppression of beneficial microorganisms that contributes to the preservation of the healthy soil environment and active plant development during the blooming period.
7th World Congress on Microbiology | Valencia, Spain | 2016 | 28/11/2016 - 29/11/2016 | Conference series LLC Ltd | Distribution of Microbe-Atagonists in Tomato Rhizosphere in Georgia | poster | Our research goal was to isolate microorganisms in the tomato rhizosphere, to study their antagonistic interaction to choose strong antagonists to be applied against pathogenic microorganisms in the tomato culture. We studied the tomato rhizosphere microbial flora according to the plant vegetation phases. 120 cultures were isolated, the antagonistic action of these cultures was tested by the diffusion and streak inoculation methods. The result showed that the strong antagonist strains are: N6, N20, that have inhibited the growth of microbes, by accordingly. For the identification we had studied morphological, physiological, and cultural features of antagonist strains. Bacillus subtilis. St. N6. In conclusion, we isolated a strong antagonist Bacillus subtilis St. N6, which had inhibited the growth of microorganisms by 25-30% extracted from tomato rhizosphere.
9th International Congress Of Plant Pathology | Torino, Italy | 2008 | - | - | Antiobiotics and the Microbe-Antagonists as a Means for the Treatment of Plant Disease | poster | In Georgian conditions, investigation of the microbe-antagonists and the antibiotics synthesized by the latter was carried out in the strains isolated from the rhizospheres of the vegetable cultures (tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, sweet pepper). Against Fusarium, various cultures of the spore bacteria have been isolated, including Bac. Mesentericus and the bacteria of the Pseudomonas family. The majority of those bacteria, which synthesized the antibiotics, belonged to actynomyces. Also a large portion of the antagonists contained fungi. |
