Article considers thebextreme winters, when the formation of catastrophic avalanche takesplace and establishes boudaries of distribution of catastrophic avalanches, 56% of the territory of Georgia is avalanche-dangerous and 44% of the territory is non avalanche-dangerous. Catastrophic avalanches are spread in to foresee the regions of distribution of catastrophic avalanches for developing rellevant and effective avalanche-preventive measures
